I still haven’t read any book of the overly hyped Harry Potter series since many people I know went absurdly agog over it. My initial reaction when I first learned of the book eight years ago was like ah, okay, just another children’s book. My mannish hormones were in overdrive at that time — thrilled and fired up about college life and all — so who give a shit about Harry Potter? Likewise, I got a lot of anime in my head to take care of so I had no time for another long story about loony wizards and witches. But at this moment, things have become interesting. Harry is arguably not your ordinary children’s book after all. I admit I began to like the series after the 5th book was launched, especially upon knowing that death and darness already characterized the story (evil laughs). Friends tell me I’m a closet HP fan. They ask me that if I haven’t picked up and read any HP book, how come I get to like it? Of course, there’s the Internet, all I ever need to do is type some words and press the key. I read detailed summaries over the net and that’s already enough to satisfy me. I’m lazy, okay (evil laughs). In addition, I incidentally watched some HP films before so I figured it wouldn’t hurt to become a bit “inquiring” concerning what Harry will do next with his wand. Thanks to the Internet, I got to know what the ending would be even before the HP book 7 is released tomorrow because of many leaks that’s been popping all over the place (evil laughs). Someone with access to the American edition of the book has taken a photograph of every one of the pages and uploaded them to some fanfiction sites. I’m not a bad Santa so as much as I want to tell in here what the ending would be I’m just going to zip my lips. I don’t want to give HP fans a bad Saturday. Let’s just see how people would find the book seven. Happy reading!

I would always prefer the books to the movies--they are just hit-and-miss adaptations of the real thing.
And on the ending: the ending that I wanted didn't happen, but then I realized that despite its dark themes, it's still a children's book. Here's to happy endings. :)
what an ending hehehehe... its dark... and that's what makes the book good.
haha. you're khren (conio), the movies were miss and hit, most especially the first two, which i dislike, save for the music and art direction. the books are always better.
the ending of the series, i felt, just placed a stopper on the story. answered questions. felt like a task, really. but nevertheless the journey was brilliant, and i'll treasure it forever.

ya told me before you didn't harry to kick the bucket, oh well, there goes your harry, married and even have 3 children, how does that sound? now that hp is over, i suggest you try warping into another universe, well, naruto for an instance. you don't loath anime/manga, do ya? hehe
@sedricke: the first two movies are really bad! whatdahell "Hagrid, what's that?" na lang ang alam nilang linya. haha.
there has to be an end to it, the last thing i wanted it to be is a never-ending Sweet Valley series. haha :P
@nutty: while you're at it, i suggest you warp at death note too. you will not regret it! :D
i looked up death note and found it interestingly enough to satisfy my last-ditch anime hunger. but i must tell pipol time and again, especially sedricke, that hp is already over. he really needs to check on his fantasy universe and forget hp physics and all because it could cost him screws and nuts. ok?
a great HP ending would be.
horny peter caught the female lead characters (what's her name something like hermayonee?) and the other male character. (that's horny's bestfriend i think.)
they we're caught kissing (hermayonee and HP's bestfriend) and having s_x by horny. because of that horny got angry and tried some spells and it backfired. and it destroyed the whole HP universe. hehe LOL :D

Harry potter is getting bigger in the movie. why not venture into a different movie title instead: "Hairy Fucker", that's gonna give us some kicks. momma won't be babysitting me anymore and tell me a kid story like this before I go to sleep... btw, hermoine's a prostitute. fuckin retard

I like the fact every new book/movie of Harry Potter introduces new characters. Like in the Order of the Phoenix, I like Harry's new nemesis , Dolores Umbridge and Luna Lovegood. The good thing about Harry Potter is that all the elements are still in place. They keep going and going. With the young cast that only continues to mature, for a good reason. Harry will be 19 for the movie#6 and if movie#7 will be released in 2010, Harry will be 21. And I will be -- still watching HP.
I always like the character of Professor Snape from the HP1 to HP5. He is so mystical to me. You don't really know what is on his mind. And the pink outfits, smugly nasty Professor Dolores Umbridge is the best addition. She's funny and artificially friendly.
kay boranzohn: hindi na ito isa lamang children's book. Di nga ba, inilahad ni Rowling na si Harry dumaraan sa puberty stage, na-i-inlove, nagkaroon na ng first kiss, hoy kahit wizzard yan meron syang encounter sa fifteen year old hormones....ahihi
